I have 25 years of experience in the mechanics industry. After leaving the Royal Engineers I started my mobile mechanic business, originally in Derby. After 7 years, I decided to move to Australia. While there I worked in a large accident repair shop for 1 year. I eventually decided to come back to the UK, where I set up a business in Nottingham. I have been running this business for the past 14 years. In 2016 I was fortunate enough to star in the National Geographic Channel show "Mine Kings" showing off my mechanic's skills in 10 countries over 6 months.

Zak was lovely and friendly, he knew what he was talking about. My car was in for MOT and it passed. Zac phoned me to let me know and also mentioned any advisories of which i had options. I decided to have 2 of the advisories carried out and Zac has kept my car until tomorrow. So far i am 100% satisfied and i am sure i shall continue to be. The quotes i have been given for all work has been very reasonable and competitive, i shall definitely call on Zac again for any other work i need doing on my Aygo.

Whilst I was impressed with how quickly my request was responded to and the mechanic came out the next day I wasn’t impressed with the quality of the service. I didn’t receive any paperwork to understand what work had been completed or what I needed to look out for on the car. When the work had been completed there were big oil patches underneath the car and over the car park. I am disappointed as the mechanic did not clean this up and just left. First time using clock mechanic and I’m not sure I would use again.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.

As far as we're aware you specified what was required for the service and that was carried out, an invoice was issued, the service lamp reset and the service book stamped, we're not sure what more would be required.

With regard to the oil stains left in the work car park, we already apologised and explained that it was down to the extremely windy weather [gusts upto 40mph according to weather reports] which whips the oil away as it is draining from the car.

In wet weather it is nigh on impossible for us to see the oil in water, however, if requested we will of course return and do our best to rectify the situation.
