The mechanic turned up and I was told I needed a timing chain replacement and he quoted me £800 plus for the repair after charging £58 roughly for his call out and opinion.

In hindsight I got another garage to look at the job and it was a cheap sensor that was required.

Car was shipped to Northern Ireland following the inspection. It has driven 10miles since then & the ABS light, among others has already illuminated on the dash.

Not a happy customer. I’ll not be leaving very good review for this ‘service’ (although that’s a very strong term to use based upon this experience).
