The mechanic was very friemdly, he carried out the work as asked and this was on the back of what I was informed that needing doing the previous week. The previous week I had a service done on my car, NOT done by Auto-Link MOT & Service Centre, but by another garage. I asked the previous mechanic to look at my engine light was coming on, I was told that my EGR valve needs fixing and i if I did not have iot fixed it could lead to me shelling out 3k or more, I was also advised that the light could be coming up due to the fuel(disel) that I put in my car e.g. not diseal supreme which I so put in.

Long story short I went online for a mechanic to see how much it would be to replace and have a new EGR fitted which cost me £258. 00. This is where Auto-Link MOT & Service Centre comes into the picture. The EGR valve was replace, I was advised intially that the engine light had come off, and then when the mechanic got here he then informed me that the engine light has come back on again. I am NOT saying that this is his fault at all, I am just very annoyed that the first place were I had my service done infomed me of this. Read more
