Very knowledgeable and had all the correct equipment to check the car over properly and gave good feedback while he was going through the checks.
We didn't buy the car because of the many issues the mechanic found so am very happy with choosing to spend the money to get the car checked.

Nigel was very thorough in his inspection, providing us essential information that we needed as we where not able to view the car in person. Peugeot 2008 SUV Premium Pre-purchase Inspection

Nigel put down on the report that he couldn’t locate the locking wheel nut but my vehicle does have any locking wheel bolts on the alloys.
I informed Nigel from the beginning that the Car is a CAT N and had a Salvaged Peugeot Subframe fitted and a new wishbone etc. His report is painting out that the car is only worthy for scrap. I won’t be using this service again or recommending it, next time I’ll get the AA or RAC..

Hello, thanks for the review. However I must point out that at no time did I say or imply that the vehicle was only fit for scrap. I concluded that it was " below average", which it is. I also reported that the repair was of poor quality as the lower arm ball joint had been left loose rendering the vehicle dangerous to drive and recommended that all other disturbed components be checked for correct security, which is good advice. Incidently, I was consultant engineer for RAC and used to manage and train AA inspection engineers.
Sorry, you were disappointed with the report, but I was merely doing my job and saving you from driving a dangerously defective vehicle.
In my experience written off vehicles are never repaired to a good standard.
