Jonathon was very easy to deal with, obliging and explained simply what the clutch replacement involved. I would highly recommend him to anyone for their car maintenance.

Pre-purchase Inspection.
TLDR:- Johnathan was good on the phone and the price was good however the phone call didn't happen until that night and the report wasn't received until the following night and even then appeared to be at least partly copied from others without proof reading. Far from quick and quality not as I expected.

I booked the pre-purchase inspection and Jonathan arrived on time and finished early. No issues here, however when it came to the phone call and report, that was a different story. I wasn't there during the inspection due to buying from a distance away so was expecting a phone call at the time or soon after the inspection. Unfortunately I didn't get the call until 23:30 that evening (so about 8 hours later) which he said was due to his other jobs. On the phone Jonathan was friendly and seemed knowledgeable which was good.

Jonathan said I'd get the report the following morning however this didn't happen either, meaning I had no choice but to make an offer on the vehicle without having the report in writing which was a tough decision.
The report finally came through that night, so around 32 hours after the inspection, and on reading it, it's wasn't accurate. Apparently there was a turbo which was in working condition however this vehicle didn't have a turbo. It said there's no spare tire, however there is and finally the wiper condition was in working condition despite a note further down and on the phone saying the wiper blades needed changing.
The report appeared to be a copy and paste, or at least a standard report that is altered slightly and with notes at the end.
I did email Jonathan to raise the above issues however I haven't had a reply so unfortunately couldn't rate any higher.

I expected a pre-purchase inspection to come through quickly so I could make an offer however it didn't. Obviously time is important when looking at used vehicles that are actually priced well and unfortunately this service didn't meet my expectations. Read more

The job turned out to be bigger than expected but Jonathan kept us informed at all times.The car was collected and dropped off on time which made the whole process much easier. Jonathan was very knowledgeable and I would definitely use him again in the future.
