Adrian correctly diagnosed a problem with the ECU but focused much too much on the worst case scenario of a £2,000 repair or car right off which gave us a sleepless night. In fairness he did say it could be something simple like an earth. The day after my Dad correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem in 5 minutes and it started instantly with no problems whatsoever (and he’s not a car mechanic). It was the immobiliser.
