Applied socket without disconnecting the battery prior to starting work causing a few big sparks. Immediately had me doubtful on level of knowledge from the start. Replaced thermostat at competitive price but unfortunately didn't fix overheating fault and it made it worse/louder which has led me to wonder if it fitted properly. Lost a lot of the remaining coolant mid change which drained straight down residents parking and was topped back up with with 3-4 litres of unmixed bottled tap water I had to fill myself from the kitchen tap as they weren't carrying any. That later also overflowed & drained after test drive and expected them to be equipped with coolant as would a garage. After job completion sent quote for head gasket test next as precaution which I have now got booked with a garage for 1/4 of the price. Was given card and contacted twice, first time said was driving and would get back to me later but didn't , second never even replied. Won't use again. Read more

This mechanic was of good quality, and carried out the work thoroughly. I would have given more stars on communication had he picked up the phone the same evening to tell me about the report, that said he spoke to me the following day, and was very helpful.

Russell was extremely helpful as the brake problems turned out to much more than was originally booked. He had all the necessary parts with him and completed the job as he planned.
