Darren was very good with what I required doing as in very honest.
I’ve had all sorts of problems with the VW Golf and I thought it was the alternator that needed replacing after I had took it to another garage for an alternator test and they said it was low.
Long story short they came and picked the car up the night before and then next morning rang me and I thought it would to be said that the repair is completed and it’s on it’s way back. But instead he was honest and said the alternator is showing 14.4 volt so that’s fine and the battery was tested and all is ok. So instead of just replacing it and charging me the price i was quoted he didn’t do much more than the electrical tests that it required to look for faults but it wasn’t showing any so they put it back together and just charged me labour cost. He’s also said to stay in touch for future incase it happens to me again and then he’ll come to me to see the problem in person.
