I needed a mechanic to come and look at a steering fault on my BMW 116D. The car couldn’t be driven so I needed somebody to come to my house. I was initial hesitant to use a mechanic I’d never used before for what appeared to be a big (and potentially expensive) job. Nikolay came and was professional throughout. He identified the problem, and told me exactly what it was. He contacted me again shortly after with a quote for the work and the parts. He appeared to be fair with his quotes, so I asked him to do the work. He collected the car the same day and quoted me about 7 days to fix it, but rang me within 5 days to say it was fixed! The mechanic I had was Nikolay who turned up on time was very professional and knowledgeable he diagnosed the critical issue that Halfords had caused by not putting the coolant lid on correctly/properly when they passed it on an MOT 4 weeks ago it was good job I noticed the water level lever go to the top I called several garages but all said closed for Christmas Halfords who caused the dangerous issue in the first instance said they don’t do coolant I would have to contact a specialist. Having looked online Halfords do offer it they just didn’t want to do mine. Very pleased with ClickMechanic they put Halfords mess right. It’s great to get a mechanic on your driveway so convenient. Nic is a great person, knew what he was doing but it’s one of those situations where car needs a run, but impossible at moment as I’m in and out of hospital plus petrol situation so result is pending.
