WAS SUPPOSE TO DO AN DIAGNOSTIC ON THE MACHINE AND HIS EQUIPMENT WAS NOT UP TO STANDARD FOR THE JOB, wHY HAVE I PAYED A £99 FOR A JOB NOT DONE , HE TOLD ME THAT THE CLUTCH NEED REPLAYING HOW WOULD HE NO THAT WHEN THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST DIDNT WORK SEE HIS PHOTO, i ALREADY KNEW THER WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE CLUTCH, I TOLD HIM IT WAS ALREADY SLIPPING.

Hi there Marta,
I think you've gotten confused.
Your booking was for gear selector and transmission inspection. I plugged the car into my diagnostics and checked the error codes and carried out a test drive. I then advised you that the clutch was slipping and requires replacement. Gears and selectors were working correctly.
If you knew you required a clutch, then you should have booked a clutch replacement. I advised I could not take on the clutch repair due to the auto gearbox needing resynced and requiring dealer level diagnostics which I do not have access too for your car. I advised clickmechanic to send your repair booking back out to the system for other garages/mechanics to take the job on and have you back on the road.

Was brilliant but did not bring the correct EGR for my Car. Took out my EGR & cleaned it but my car is still not running as it should.
I am in Scotland & need to get home to Rotherham asap.
Hotel & Car Hire is costing me a small fortune until the jobs completed.
