My time and money wasted
Mechanic arrived and he checked the battery power which was full as I had charged it.
Mechanic started the car left it running for 5 minutes but he did not fully check any of the electrics just threw a few switches on the dashboard no individual components tested for the battery drain issue reported!
When booking I explained RAC had stated there was an electrical fault/ issue causing the battery drain So I expected a electrical diagnostic mechanic to attend and carry out a full electrical diagnostic test.
Mechanic stated the battery held its power for an hour but wasn’t there for an hour.
Mechanic said he couldn’t find the fault…….quite obvious as he didn’t look for it but suggested I wait for battery to drain fully and then call him out to re check!!
I have again charged the battery and the battery is still draining and I am still unable to start/drive car. Read more
