They diagnosed the problem but left us high and dry in regards to getting it fixed and the costs. He said he would organise someone to email an approximate cost but this hasnt happened.

Kai was great, after booking initially for brake pads, Kai inspected the wheels and he said I needed brake discs as well, thought I might've to be fair, ended up paying an additional £400 but worth it and Kai completed the job. Great service and happy to have Kai fix my car in the future 👍

I booked Kai through ClickMechanic to replace the track rods on my car. Upon arrival, he realized the inner and outer track rods were seized, which required a full track rod assembly replacement. Although he tried to separate the components, he was unable to do so. He then left to re-quote the job, charging a diagnostic fee, which I paid as I needed the car repaired urgently.

When he returned to complete the job, he fitted the new track rod assembly but encountered issues removing the rubber gaiters (boots). Unfortunately, he ripped one gaiter, leaving a significant portion of the steering rack exposed to water, dirt, and debris. He also removed the undertray to carry out the work, which is understandable, but it was not refitted, leaving steering critical components vulnerable especially in Scotland’s wet climate.

Kai advised he would return after 100 miles to check the track rods and refit the undertray, which I respected. However, this meant additional inconvenience and an incomplete job. Due to time constraints, I had to take the car to another garage to refit the undertray and replace the damaged gaiter work that could have been done in one visit if properly planned as he charged a Diagnostic fee.

Lastly, he left his oil pan behind, and despite my attempts to contact him, he never returned to collect it. While he completed much of the work correctly, the lack of foresight, the damaged gaiter, and the incomplete finish left me frustrated and inconvenienced. Charged in £400 and proble no solved. Paid up front and never returned. If he says (Kai) differently have text messages to back it up. Not good service

Kai has done a presale car inspection for me and was very helpful and communicative. The seller also confirmed that he was nice and professional.

Kai kept me inform of his ETA, arriving on time. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue with the brake wear pad sensor. A no fuss job well done!
