Thanks for your pre-purchase report. I'll now just walk away from this remote home delivery deal, which I'd been considering for a week.
Photos of the car were the unexpected clincher (although I was glad to see the documentation, I didn't pass on any details in the end). The notes on the photos that point out specific problems are really helpful.
For example, suspension, brakes and tyres all have problems. Most cars do, so I could almost just think of it as a cost of a cheaper deal, but the tyres were described in the ad as "excellent", and the MOT date was advertised as December 2025 before it had actually been done (after I asked about the mismatch with gov uk records). So that hardly inspires confidence. "If the price is too good to be true..."
The main kicker for me was the oil leaking all over the engine. Not a good look!
It seems to be a car that's been a bit neglected, after a careful owner ran out of warranty, sold on or traded up, and the next owner may have had to fit strictly into a budget for only doing essential MOT repairs.
With words like "ASAP" and "excessive" on repair and wear in the report (which I agree with), it's surprising that this car passed an MOT just this week. Read more

Kazem arrived on time to replace water pump that I believed was leaking coolant. After replacing Kazem reported he did not feel the water pump was leaking and checked the coolant system thoroughly ensuring no other leaks. Provided pictures of all work carried out, very happy with work carried out, will def use again

Had the mechanic looked under the car he would have noticed the exhaust hanging off the under side of the car.
I aso paid £29.00 for a points check and this was apparently not done.
This is estimated to take 1 hour yet the mechanic was gone in 15 minutes.
Yes the catalytic converter is under warranty but this doesn't excuse the fact the exhaust pipe was hanging of the car nearly touching the floor.
I was left none the wiser as to what was wrong so had to book another mechanic to take a proper look.
Upon jacking up the car it was clear to see the exhaust pipe was hanging.
Would not reccomend your company to any one.
