My 30 years as a mechanic began with a trainee apprenticeship in a few firms: Hamilton Engineering in Bexhill-on-Sea, Stagecoach in Leonards-on-Sea & Anchor Service in Hastings and then after I went on to be workshop manager and qualified MOT tester. I have also worked at British Aerospace for a period of time and then moved into the family business. Since 1936 we have existed in some form since then there has been various developments and name changes through the years and I set up Coastal Car Tec in around 1995 and the business has diversified into a mobile capacity and as a result has also developed into tackling all makes/models of car & taking on all repairs.
I have a fully equipped workshop in Bexhill On Sea for undertaking work that is not possible on the roadside. Read more

Eddy was very flexible, helpful and honest regarding the state of the old glow plugs. Probably they were in good conditions, but I wanted them changed. Certainly, I would like to use his skills and professional knowledge in the future.
