I've had the RAC out and they've diagnosed the problem as something totally different. The driver side coil spring has snapped and the tyre was punctured from rubbing against it. The lambda sensor was totally fine and the soot levels are not too high either. I am highly unsatisfied with this as the diagnosis was totally wrong. I've just had to pay the RAC guy £75 for their diagnosis. Please contact me ASAP.

My car needed the alternator replaced and a local garage said it would need to be on a ramp and take at least 5 hours. Robert messaged me in the mornig with an ETA and arrived dead on time.
