Arrived as planned to collect my car. Very polite and listened to what I had to say. Alistair phoned me to discuss the worked needed before commencing and kept me updated until my car was returned. So happy I have found a good and honest mechanic and will definitely use again.

Alastair the mechanic whiz has returned the car completely fixed. Absolutely a top job and no doubt top of my list of fixers. The other members of the crew who picked up my vehicle and returned it were helpful and excellent to deal with.

Alastair was great! He updated me at every point, he found a few other bits and asked if I wanted him to do them before he got on with it. Clutch and cambelt replacement done and some other little bits and he found something the AA had done which I didn’t know about so replaced that too. Would not hesitate to use Alastair again!

Excellent service from Alastair (SVG Automotive). Work quoted was completed, Alastair called informing me of a couple of additional issues (such as clutch cable fitted 'upside-down'). Discussed in simple terms / language (I am not a mechanic!) and also uploaded photos to the dashboard clearly showing me the issue. Also went above and beyond (such as fixing the bonnet release cable - no charge). Comms were excellent (unlike many garages I didn't have to call for updates). Much appreciated and highly recommended!
