I was sent a time frame a name and contact number to whom I sent directions, so quite surprised to get a phone call from a lost mechanic over an hour prior to time given. It was someone different and he had not been sent the directions.
The job was done, however mechanic left his rubbish which I had to pick up and had not cleaned the steering wheel so I ended with black hands.
ClickMechanic advertises itself as using local trade, mine came from Heathrow, about 60 miles away.

Alternator was not working & battery was not charging & hence went flat.
The driver came to the house with a spare battery and installed in. He then drove the car to the garage for replacement and also MOT.

Returned the car mid-afternoon.

Yes but WHY did you not inform me that they were 20 miles away and very difficult to find? I had to return the next day once I’d had new tyres put on, as per MOT test request, and only then did I discover how far away they were hence wasting a lot of time and increased expense.
