The answer t the above question is no. I contacted clickmecanic because my car's engine light was on, the mechanic connected his computer to the car and told me the fault was the Nox sensor and for a fee of £350 he could replace; I agreed to let him carry out the work. Following on from the work he carried out the light was extinguished. However starting the car the following day the engine light was illuminated; which means the problem was not fixed. Extinguishing the engine can be carried out using a OBD meter which is what seams to have happened. I contacted the mechanic via text with no response This is late response due to the holiday period.

Mitch came out to have a look at van not starting after someone else done some work Mitch messaged to say he would be half hour and was straight to work diagnosed issue quickly
