The mechanic sounded very knowledgable and moderately friendly. However the work carried out has left me VERY dissatisfied as I now have a bill from a garage I have taken the car to in regards to work and parts that was allegedly checked by said mechanic. It's not a cheap bill to say the least, the CCV wasn't venting air (therefore pressure building in the engine) and also the battery is down to holding a total for 30% charge, which is problematic due to the car having an electric handbrake. WHICH ALSO WAS CHECK BY SAID MECHANIC. May as well have been a basic healthcheck, free from BMW, not at all worth the money. However the mechanic appeared to be on time and punctual (I wasn't there to confirm). I don't know how it's possible to miss such problems that are caused from longterm wear. 10/10 won't be reccommending to friends or family for a check. Check cost me £125.00 to prevent this from happening, repairs 3 months later cost me £600.00. If you do pay for a check I would HIGHLY ADVISE BEING THERE TO ENSURE THEY'RE THOUROUGH. Read more

Hi thanks for review I’m sorry to learn your battery as failed after nearly 3 months but we don’t issue on going guarantee we can only check what’s working at time of inspection also ccv was ok at time of inspection or it would have had pressure build up when I removed filler cap when running which I do on all inspections is unfortunate bmw are the cars they once were and generally need lots of attention the ccv valves ,filters are recommended serviceable items as are regular for carboning up I’m disappointed that the misunderstanding of what we check as I remember this task in Mansfield I did a very thorough inspection hopefully we can be of assistance in future click mechanic could probably of fixed these faults for far lesss than 600 thanks .
