Decent communication however timescales of when I’d pick the car up changed twice.

I had scheduled a service and MOT for Friday, 1st November, at 10:00 am. Unfortunately, the mechanic failed to show up and only informed me at the appointment time, explaining via message that he was unwell: “I have an illness and have been unable to make it into work today, could we move this booking to tomorrow.” He then proposed rescheduling for the following day and requested, “Is there any chance you could bring the vehicle into us; if not, I can collect around 9?” I was concerned by these delays, especially given that he had not cancelled sooner, despite knowing he was unwell, and that he suggested I bring the car to his garage.

On Saturday, he ultimately collected the car and later informed me that the driver's side door handle had broken, which contributed to the car failing the MOT. Not only did he not offer to fix this issue at no charge, but he explained it was unintentional damage. When I asked for a repair quote, it was higher than quotes from other garages. Car was meant to be fixed on Wednesday but part wasnt in (wasn't his fault) but I did pay for premium date and as work wasn't carried out till today 18/10/24 was wondering if I would get a refund on this?

Jack carried out our MOT and service to our complete satisfaction. One of the young ladies from the garage collected our car and safely returned it later in the day. We have used Click Mechanic a few times now and would most definitely not hesitate in recommending. Superb service, every time.

Jack was a very knowledgeable and helpful mechanic and I would like to thank his colleagues who have done a great job also working on late to complete my car, there was a little bit of a communication problem at first but all worked out well in the end , I would recommend as they do put the hours in, so cheers guys
