My experience with ClickMechanic has been a nightmare. They charged me over £150 for nothing! They have a disputes procedure, but it was the mechanic’s word against mine so my appeal for a refund was rejected out of hand by their management. My case was that their mechanic wrongly diagnosed a problem with my car but left it in a far, far worse condition. He returned and managed to get my car back to the condition it was in before he touched it. As they are refusing to offer a refund I am taking the matter to the ombudsman with, I hope, maximum local and trade publicity (I’m a journalist). Meanwhile I encourage anyone thinking of employing ClickMechanic’s services to consider alternatives.

Just to say that Christopher was brilliant and appears to have done a very job. So much so that I have asked him to arrange for a quote for some further work on the exhaust system. Considering that the car is a Porsche Boxster which allegedly can only be worked on in a workshop environment, I'm extremely pleased.

Highly professional, Chris Higley provided an excellent repair service to my car yesterday. I'd definitely use him again in the future. Although slight late in arrival he knew exactly what he had to do so waisted no time in carrying out the repair work. Cheerful and extremely knowledgable I'm truly impressed with his skills. I'd recommend him should anone require assistance with their car.
