Audi TT Diagnostic Inspection

Wanted a radiator fan swich fitting as rad fans not working until very high temp reached, Click mechanic said better to do a diagnostic first which i agreed to. Mechanic said to fit a temparature sensor which has been done, Still overheats and I still do not know why rad fans not coming on.

Hi Trevor,
As previously explained to you there was no fault found with the vehicle at the time of test, the engine was not over heating and was running at the correct temperature therefore the fans will not operate.
You stated that you already had a temperature sensor and the technician mentioned that the sensor would be the easiest and most logical part to change first, which you replied that you would fit yourself.
It is very difficult to diagnose a fault that was not there at the time of the test and you received an in depth explanation as to the possible cause if the fault returned.
