Duncan did a pre purchase inspection on a van we were interested in buying. He identified a couple of issues that needed rectifying which we were then able to discuss with the current owners before committing to purchase. Would thoroughly recommend - Duncan was friendly and professional, plus he talked me through the inspection in terminology I could understand. Would happily use his services again.

I thought the Reduced Engine Power Inspection will be done in a garage, or at least on a mobile ramp and that the diagnose result will point exactly to the damaged part. This is an issue taht can have so many causes and I wasn't expecting just a tester inspection and a trial & error advice on replacing parts and see how it goes.
For what it matters, I have no doubt Duncan is a good mechanic, judging from the others reviews. However I do blame ClickMechanic for not specifying this in all the diagnose/inspection services that they sell. I wouldn't have bothered to book this because I already knew what error codes my car has and I could have changed the involved parts easily.

Duncan provided an excellent service. He was able to have a look at my car earlier than planned and called ahead to make sure this was ok. He was easy to chat with, very knowledgable and professional. He put me at ease and communicated all works That needed carried out, with quotes, clearly.
