Imran has carried out two pre-purchase inspections for me. After his first report and a conversation I pulled out of a car I was originally interested in and opted for another. I found him helpful and happy to discuss his concerns with me. He also spoke to the salesman to run through what he had found. The second car still had a few issues which he identified but at least I know what I'm buying and second hand cars are rarely perfect.
On both occasions I was sent additional pictures to those in the report and a short video of the engine running on one. A very thorough job,

Imran was great.
I had an idea what was wrong,but he diagnosed problem swiftly.
My cars dpf was clogged.
He did a forced regen to clear it and diagnosed the component that had failed.
Going to get that fixed asap so dpf doesn’t clog again.
Imran was very knowledgable.
Very happy with the service given.
Would recommend.

You were sent 4 photos.
I always include a minimum of 4 photos because it is stipulated within the contract.
I usually take many more, but if there are no faults, I will then keep it to a 4 photo minimum, as I am then left with more time to focus on the Inspection.

Imran was friendly and polite. He gave me a courtesy call an hour before arriving, and arrived punctually. He clearly explained how the MOT and service would work and that he would contact me before replacing any necessary parts. The car was returned within the time Imran said and had been unexpectedly cleaned! Great service. My only quibble was that I didn't realise the car would be taken so far to have the MOT (around an 80 mile round trip), but I figure Clickmechanic saved me a lot hassle, so don't mind too much. Will use again. Thank you.

Although I always appreciate constructive criticism and see it as a great tool to improve the overall customer experience, I am genuinely left at a loss regards your feedback.
The Inspection was booked for 12pm but I arrived at 11:42am, yet you gave 4 out of 5 for Punctuality.
I called you before I popped over to Inspect the Vehicle and I called you immediately after having Inspected the vehicle. I clearly explained why the car was not worth the asking price and advised that you should not buy the vehicle.
All in all, we had 5 seperate conversations, over a period of 4 hours, yet you gave 4 out of 5 for Communication.
The rating format we follow is identical to Main Dealerships.
More detail is only added in fields where faults are found on a vehicle.
It is the simplest format, therefore, the easiest for everyone to follow and understand.
I do not think it can be bettered.
Further, I identified faults on your potential purchase, that were not covered by your Pre-Purchase Inspection, as you had chosen the most "basic" option.
You thanked me for having done the extra checks, yet you gave 3 out of 5 for Quality.
I honestly do not know how much more I could have done for you to get more for your money......
