Nice Chap,
No more information obtained than a MOT at local Garage, Very little information on wear of any components.
Would take car for an MOT next time and save a hundred pounds.

I always welcome constructive criticism, as it's a great tool to help us better ourselves and improve customer experience, but in this instance, I'm left feeling slightly confused......
For instance, I don't understand why you would give 2 stars for punctuality, considering you brought the car to us.....
That a side, the Inspection Report you received was a comprehensive Report covering 140+ vehicle components.
Your vehicle was also placed on a Vehicle Ramp and a Pre-MOT Test Inspection was also conducted at no extra charge, something we do not normally do, but did for you as you were "more interested in the underside of the vehicle than anything else".
A full EOBD-II Diagnostics was also carried out and all fault codes / errors that were stored were deleted for you.
Deletion was carried out as a courtesy, no charge at all, because you had already purchased the vehicle.
19+ faults were identified when the Inspection was carried out, ranging from Gear Box issues to Stereo Coding issues.
Of those 19+ faults, only 7 would have been identified in an MOT Test Inspection.
You were also verbally informed of those 7 faults, as 5 of the faults would have resulted in your vehicle being refused an MOT Certificate if it was MOT Test Inspected that day.
So, to conclude, what you received was nowhere near a normal MOT Test Inspection as you seem to think, we conduct MOT Test Inspections on a daily basis, you would never have received such a comprehensive Inspection at any MOT Test Station for the price of a simple MOT Inspection.
Further, your vehicle received a lowly rating of 33 out of 100, if you had booked the Pre-Purchase Inspection, prior to purchasing the vehicle, I'm sure you will agree that you would have most likely not purchased the vehicle, as the rating of 33 out of 100 is very poor indeed.
This is what the Pre-Purchase Inspection is for, it's created to help you make an informed decision, PRIOR to purchase.

I found a mechanic who came to my workplace and diagnosed a central locking problem I had within 10 minutes. He knew his stuff and was able to give me an idea of what it would cost and how long it would take. Imran is a very knowledgeable car surgeon and a good communicator.

Ford Mondeo Car Won't Start Inspection

the guy was on time and diagnosed the issue
problem is i have since had the fuel pump changed and im now in the same position i was in to start with. only £300 out of pocket. so im not happy with the mechanic as he told me i had low fuel pressure and it was the fuel pump.

Hi Mark.
Sorry to hear that you're still experiencing difficulties with the Mondeo.
The Diagnostics conducted at the time I came out to see your vehicle was concluded as:
Fuel Pump Pressure is Below Specified Values.
You were told that the Fuel Pump was faulty and, I strongly recommended to you at that time, that if you decide to do the work yourself, you MUST have the Fuel Filter replaced and have all 4 Fuel Injectors removed and tested BEFORE the Fuel Pump is replaced.
You were advised as such because these components are more than likely clogged, due to swarf / metal fillings / sediment contamination from the Fuel Pump breaking up internally.
I strongly suggest, again, that you replace the Fuel Filter and have the Injectors tested and replaced accordingly.
I have never falsely Diagnosed a vehicle to date and I'm as frustrated as you are to hear that your Vehicle is still off the road, but you can't have half of the work done and expect your Vehicle to run right.
I have no doubt that a clogged Fuel Filter / Fuel Injector(s) is all that now requires your attention.
