The job I booked was carried out, although the repair wasn't tested in line with the description of the booking- when I messaged the mechanic later he stated that he could see the leak so it didn't need testing- the car make is known to have faults, and there were other leaks present which I've had to get repaired elsewhere. I booked the car safety test, again this wasn't carried out- the mechanic didn't have the tools with him to be able to check a number of the things on the list- as it involved lifting the car and looking underneath. I would personally just take your car to a garage- although the mechanic was friendly.

You booked your car in for coolant tank replacement to stop the leak, but the leak was from somewhere else and I fix that problem.
The vehicle helt check you booked, it’s a visual check, I have mentioned in the rapport what are the faults and number of things needs to be done.
