I’m afraid, I cannot be but disappointed with this mechanic. I booked a premium time slot for my partner and paid additional fees to have priority for an urgent diagnosis on my new vehicle and was expecting the mechanic to turn up at 8am as confirmed. He called to tell me that due to tube strike and traffic he would have been a couple of hours late. I actually don’t believe he was far, I think he was already in the borough. Two hours later I called him to find out how long he would have been to get a mouthful of misogynistic abuse. In fact his exact words were: “I don’t want to deal with a frustrated woman so I am not coming”. He is ended up turning up at my address at 11:14, which is a long way from 8am. I find this very unprofessional and alarming. When he came, he plugged the device in the vehicle, then plugged it out and then a couple of minutes later plugged it in again. Then he said something about codes and if the light comes on again today, tomorrow or in the week, I must call him. Nothing else. To my surprise, a couple of hours later I get a quote through via email saying that I would have to pay £866.65 to fix a fault. I find this very unprofessional. Plus, I think I should get the extra money that I paid for the earliest slot back as I did not get what I paid for. Read more
