Terrible service, do not waste your money! I booked a diagnostic through ClickMechanic for an overheating problem. The mechanic was only here for 5-10 minutes, plugged in his machine, told me that it was the thermostat and rushed off to his next job. He later phoned me to say that it was in fact the water pump and that I should just trust his £1100 diagnosis based on his experience and good reviews. The fact he didn't even wait around to see the problem for himself was nothing in his eyes, nor was the fact he completely changed his diagnosis! Seriously do not waste your money, as soon as you give your payment card details you have zero control, compared to usual garage services where you pay when your work has been completed and you are happy with it. I'm now having to start a claim via my credit card based on consumer rights. This platform is 100% biased for the mechanics and not at all for the paying customers! Never again. Read more

Ok , so not my best review , so if you had all these doubts , concerns and suspicions - why did you try to book the work required and only upon the fact I was not available - you have decided to leave this terrible review .
Although all reviews are appreciated , be it good or bad - I feel like you just tried to bully me by not offering a full refund would result in you leaving a bad review.
I’ll stand by my diagnosis regardless , thank you nevertheless .

Great response with your terrible review , I’ll advise you now with your response regarding payment will result in legal action , pls see the T & C of the contract you agreed to , all your text messages , e- mails ( via click mechanic ) have been recorded inc threats of leaving a review.
Pls note when making a claim through your bank ( making false allegations ) will only cost me more money ( fees made by your bank ) will be applied directly yourself , in a counter claim .
Click mechanic always seek to be a fair company and I have refunded several customers when I have got something ( diagnosed ) in correct .

Gave me a rough quote of 500- 700 to do work. I stupidly said well I need it done so I think he started to take advantage of me. When the official quote came through it was nearly 800. Didn't stop there, I accepted the quote where once he picked up told me there was further problems and would tally up to 1200, doesn't stop there. He sweetened the deal by promising to fix another small issue at another date. Never did!

I’d like to say that my workmanship is second to none and my van carries a extensive range of tools and the latest diagnostic equipment, needless to say that it is a van and there are limitations to what I can carry .
I’d also like to say that you will be happy with any work I carry out , your car will be protected from damage and with time permitting I’ll also wash your car before I leave , ( will need water and power)
