I had an alternator and belts changed by Hadad. I left him be to do the job as I had other things to do and he was a little later than anticipated to the job. The car seems fine although the fault codes from where the battery failed due to alternator needing replacement weren’t cleared so I need to travel and get that done somewhere else. I did find it particularly strange that he asked on multiple occasions for a “tip” and asked “do you not tip?” when I believed the price of the repair was all inclusive of his work and pay.

Arrived and started work. Realised some alternative parts required. Went off collected them and came back and completed the job.

At the start of the job, the mechanic was not able to dismount the strut mount-top part as it was rusted. He decided to flame it, which was dangerous as the car could get on fire. After he managed it, he mounted the shock absorbers. However, he put the strut mount (down part) in the wrong way. It looks like he did not know how to operate. After the job was completed, the mechanic and I went for a driving test. It was possible to hear noises from the car. However, he denied it and explained to me that the noises were on my mind (so rude).

After the mechanic left, I went to Halfords to make sure that it would be safe to drive after the mechanic's work. Halfords explained to me that the mechanic did not assemble the strut mount correctly, and the cost of the damage would be £80.00. Read more

Hadad was great. He was given the wrong parts but spent time in collecting the correct ones.

Was really good and sloved my problem up to my need.Really happy with his service.

He was surprisingly pleasant and honest about his job. I’d definitely love to work with him in the future.

Hadad originally booked to come the day after I reported my problem, but managed to find time the evening before to sort my car out.
