Only rated lower on punctuality because I booked a slot at 8-10am but as he had to go get the part in the morning, he didn’t arrive until 12pm but he called me 30 minutes before to let me know he was on his way. He was friendly, polite and the problem was fixed.

Turned up 45 minutes after the slotted time, didn’t have the rear brake shoes,so could only do the front pads, also doing the job out of a car instead of a van isn’t a good look and doesn’t seem very professional . Just hope I get the refund for the rear shoes.
Reply from Hadad:
Rear shoes where out of stock needed to be ordered for the issue of the van I wish to get one but insurance and cost as some people wish to drive a range but can't afford

I booked for my front brake pads to be replaced. The mechanic arrived the next day within the time slot that I booked. Upon the mechanic inspecting the vehicle, he pointed out that the brake pads had damaged the discs. In his words the discs were “bent”, when I looked at the discs, it had looked like the pads had just scored the back of the discs (not bent them). He said that he couldn’t warrant the pads as the discs were worn, which I thought was fair. So I agreed to have the discs replaced as well as the pads at the agreed price under a new order, which he had to set up a new quote for and I had to agree to the price via the link, which included a £25 fee to have the service completed on the same day. Noting the booking for the brake pads had not been refunded at this point. The mechanic went away, collected the new discs and came back. He started work on the car and knocked on the door approx 20-30 mins later stating that the “slider” connecting the brake calliper to the hub was stuck and he needed to spend time releasing it which he said was chargeable. I watched him use his hammer and chisel knocking the bolt inwards and outwards, as well as use WD40 and strangely he used a blow torch to heat up the bolt area, which I assume was to loosen it up? Not only did this make the rubber catch on fire from the WD40, other parts of the brakes caught on flames, which he had to blow out. I thought this was strange, but thought he must know what he was doing?! After about 5 minutes of banging the bolt back and forth and quite a few sprays of WD40, the bolt came loose. I then went inside and about 20 mins later he knocked on the door to say he was finished. At this point I asked him to process the refund for the original booking of the brake pads being replaced, as the second booking included pad replacement. He said he would process the refund but is going to charge 1 hours labour for releasing the bolt, which had perhaps taken him 10 minutes to do so. I said he wasn’t being reasonable and he should charge for the time that was spent. He disagreed and said he was going to charge me £60. So he only gave me a partial refund for my front pad replacement. I disagreed and said I would raise a dispute on clickmechanic for his unfairness and give him a negative review for his actions. I would not recommend using ClickMechanic or their mechanics after this experience. Read more

Nice guys. Jobs have been done in extreme conditions . It was just 28 degrees—no complaint from the mechanic. The clutch was replaced professionally...But....very five marks on the car body from oily dirty hands(gloves). No worries about it. But unfortunately also a few marks oily marks on the pavement and the road....In Total I will recommend this Mechanic.....BUT .....watch Him PLEASE ....in a GOOD way of Course.....Cheers
