Fiat 500 MOT with collection & delivery

My original quote was for £184.89, the final bill was £724.89, this was a terrible shock, and beyond my ability to have any real view as to the value for money of the increase, hence my one star for quality, as i have no idea. The difference in price was because the rear shock absorbers needed replacing (according to the mechanic), for which they charged me £540.00, seems a huge amount, They didn't even valet the car!!

Ford B-Max Full Service

We asked for an MOT with the full service . The mechanic said the anti roll bars needed replacing to pass and quoted an extra £186 for this . This seemed a bit pricey to me but agreed . We have subsequently looked into this and were quoted a price for parts of £28:99 each therefore £57:98 for two and we were informed by ou local mechanic that he would have charged £60 for fitting them. This makes a total of £117:98. We were charged £186 extra for this , so we do feel we have been overcharged.
