Had a pre-purchase inspection as I was 200 miles away from the car. Booked at lunchtime, it was arranged and completed the following morning. Danny called me virtually instantly to get the details and explain the service etc., and maintained good communication throughout. Not only saved me travelling 200 miles, but also spending a few thousand on a dud as it had serious issues I potentially wouldn't have even spotted myself anyway.

Danny was excellent, called to check info day before, report followed inspection almost immediately. Good advice afterwards too.

He said that the van "had corrosion - what did I expect for an 11 year old vehicle?" Fair enough, acceptable - what I didn't expect was rust on every panel, some would have lead to holes had they been treated. A more accurate description would have been that the van required a full respray as it had at multiple large flaky blisters on every panel, the passenger's door had rotten and separated the skin from the frame, and a concerning very large patch of corrosion on the drivers side chassis leg.. I wasted £120 on fares to pick up a van that was deemed as sound. I expected a van "fit for purpose" this was not.

I didn't meet Danny in person but he gave me a thorough and honest report over the phone regarding the condition of the vehicle I was considering purchasing in addition to a PDF with a breakdown of what needs attention. This is good knowledge to have as it helps me to decide whether to pursue this particular car.
