Andrei was brilliant and super helpful. Andrei did turn up 30 minutes late than the time frame offered but he did communicate well prior to the arrival about the delay. Work was not completed on the day due to some parts were not matching to my car, but Andrei turned up next day to work place and did the work properly at our office car park. Andrei used Pagid’s brake pads and discs. Andrei is very knowledgeable and efficient. A true hard working man. Andrei seemed as an introvert in beginning but we have had a good rapport after talking for few minutes. I will recommend Andrei to my friends and family for all the car fixing needs. Audi A6 Saloon Rear brake system inspection

Opened my door to him , took one look at my brakes and said he can’t the job. And it cost me £65. 5 minute conversation with me and zero
Labour. And it’s cost me £65. Perhaps a phone call or video call before the mechanic shows up to determine if the job is doable ?. Not happy.

Hi Nathan. I understand you’re not happy with the outcome because of course this is your fault: you’ve booked a wrong job therefore been charged a call out fee, which is an inspection fee.
When I’ve asked you why you’ve booked just the brake pads if you’ve clearly seen the brake discs are scratched also, you’ve answered: I’m not a mechanic.
That’s why you’ve been charged the inspection fee - I have inspected your car, explained you what need replacing and how much extra it will cost and when is my availability, which you were happy at the beginning, then you’ve changed your mind. That’s ok, but in terms and conditions says:
In the event that the work cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond the mechanic's control (pertaining to the vehicle's condition) then the mechanic will endeavour to inspect the vehicle to ascertain why the work could not proceed and to offer a subsequent quote for the remedial work.
If the work booked cannot proceed due to the vehicle's condition, then this is subject to an inspection fee.

First time I tried click mechanic for rear discs and pads and I everything was good. The job has been completed in the time frame given and the mechanic didn't fit cheap parts either. The chap was friendly and helpful. One little thing was that my car has an electronic hand brake and parts are a bit more expensive but I have been called in advance and he told me about that and asked if I still want to go ahead with the work so all good there.
