Andrew was great, he text me ahead of time letting me know when he was going to be at mine for. The job was doen very quickly and Andrew gave me great advice afterwards about getting a new front tire. Great service and easy to use.

I have 2 issues. First of all, Andrei did not arrive during the stated 2h booking period (6-8pm)
He waited until 19:42 to inform me he wasn't going to make it. So I wasted 1h42 sitting by my vehicle.
I was at a wedding the next day. Nonetheless, I organised to miss the speeches so he could fix the brakes at 4pm.
Not only was he late to that, but he found out what had caused my brake pad and disc wear was a stuck pin in my caliper. Fair enough. Quoted 340 to fix (Clickmechanic price). its a 70 pound part and 30 mins labor..
Perhaps more worryingly - since he changed my pads and discs, my brakes now make a hissing sound as theyre pressed.
After 2 days and a couple of hundred miles, the issue remains. Fortunately a family friend is a retired mechanic, who assured me it is a servo issue, which will now have to be looked at.
So, overall, I am down 220 quid, plus:
- Missed 2 hours of my cousins wedding
- Sat outside my car on the road for 1h 42min wasting time waiting on a friday evening.
- Have incurred god-only-knows what further cost to get the servo issue resolved.

Hi Elliot, I just want to clarify this again:
Yes I’ve been one hour later than the time slot 18:00-20:00 due to a complicated job before yours, took longer than expected, but this was communicated by text message to you in advance. I have asked you if 1 hr later than the time slot is ok or you want me to come back the next day to your convenient time which I did. About the “waiting for me in a car” you had a campervan where you’ve been waiting and staying in it at the same time so this is not true.
You were happy for me to come the next day, I came and done my job. I have advised you that your brake calliper is seized and you need it replaced before you can drive the van, but you’ve decided to drive it in it’s condition and probably need another pair of discs and pads again now, this is why you now wanted the money back for the job.
Again that’s not acceptable, if you have problems with your brake system, you need to book a brake inspection, and a qualified mechanic will give you a report of what the problem is and what will need changing. (This is for the future). And to end my response if you think that the prices on click mechanic are expensive, you can try a local garage in your are and you will be impressed that the prices on here are a lot cheaper than most of the garages and you don’t need to travel somewhere and get back home somehow and then again travel to pick up your car! As soon as you’ll realise this, you’ll be welcome back to our network! Take care!

Andrei is a good guy. Turned up in good time with advance notice and completed the job in around half an hour. He also reminded me to have the wheels realigned asap so as not to damage the new part & tyres.
