This guy turned up, nearly 24 hours before the job was booked for
I was going to meet him at the car to complete the deal absolutely ridiculous. Then he said he couldn’t do the job as the guy wasn’t there. and claimed that I had a problem with the dealer, if I had a problem with the dealer, I won’t be buying a car from him

Thank you for your review and I am sorry that you’re not happy.

When there’s any pre-purchase inspection, I carry out my inspection professionally impartially and follow the procedures which I strongly believe I did.

The pre purchase inspections has been re-arranged with the buyer with their convenience yesterday Monday between 5-7 pm.

The buyer agreed the visit as specified and I changed my visit for inspection on the portal prior to my visit which I believe should have been notified by email.

I was not aware or notified that you specifically wished to be there during the inspection, if had known of that I would have contacted you first before any rescheduling done.


On the pre purchase inspection, customers ask us to inspect the vehicles and send the complete report and we call them to discuss about any issues or concerns following the completion of inspection (Which I followed in your case as well)

If you’ve already decided not to go ahead with the deal due to the disagreement/ (dispute you both had about the deposit of £100) with the seller, you should have first cancelled the booking and notified me as it was initially scheduled the following morning Tuesday at 10am

Also, I wasn’t notified any of these issues between yourselves and I was surprised that the car was open but no key or no one was there at the spot? Which was awkward and unusual.
The point I realised that something was wrong I tried to contact the seller but he wasn’t answering the phone both his mobile and landline. Then, I contacted you to report about the situation and you started to relate a different issue and concern which I wasn’t sure who was wrong?? Why I wasn’t informed earlier??

In conclusion, I followed the procedures on this visit acted fairly professionally as a technician.
