Had brakes pads, disks and callipers replaced. Invoice charged me for brake fluid being replaced. 2 weeks later I had a mechanic do a full service on my car and he showed me that the brake fluid has not been replaced at all. So they charged me for something they didn’t actually do

You were not charged for replacing the DOT4 fluid at all. On your invoice, "brake fluid - £20" is listed under the parts section. Let me clarify why.
When calipers are changed on a car, it is necessary to bleed the system and fill the calipers with DOT4 fluid. We used our own DOT4 fluid for this purpose, which is why you see it listed under parts on your invoice.
I am very sorry that you were left unsatisfied and feel negative towards us, but I have explained what each cost was for and how much we paid for the parts and how much was left for our labour.

John and his colleague arrived on the dot, got on with the work and the whole process was seamless and easy - much better than going to a garage (my local garage couldn't even be bothered to ring me back with a quote). It also cost less than half the cost of what a large well known motoring retailer beginning with H were wanting to charge!
