never use you again damaged the water pump left us without a car for 7 days had to pay to get water pump replaced & the mechanic that came out to change the pump was very good he fixed the cam belt because parts John fitted he damaged didn't have the right tools to do the job its cost us double the price

This is an unfair review. The water pump was not damaged but the seal behind it started leaking after it was moved to de-adjust/re-adjust the pump as the customer admitted he should have asked for the pump to be replaced with the belt but said money was tight, he also said that the car was losing water beforehand but could not be sure where from. The car was left in a useable condition as only had a slight drip from the pump seal and it is not my fault that it took 7 days to get it fixed, I would have done it but was going on holiday the very next day. Customer was refunded for my labour plus an extra half an hour to allow for pump to be replaced which he seemed very happy with. Also I was marked down for punctuality when in fact I arrived half an hour early seriously no pleasing some people ! Read more

A difficult job to undertake, involving door locks and handles. John advised using an auto locksmith, which I am in the process of trying. He did indicate that if I was unsuccessful with this he might be able to help.

The franchise was ceased in 2003 and since then many technicians have continued independently, such as myself, who has owned and run this business since 1991. In that time I have completed in excess of 10000 jobs on virtually every make and model of car and light van. In 2010 I worked with the AA for a year whilst also doing my own repairs with Hometune on the side in my spare time and kept the business going so it never ceased.
