Pleasant individual. All brakes replaced. Had to release electric handbrake first but was happy to do this. Recommend the mechanic, John, and this company. Price charged less than half price compared to main dealer and done within 24 hours of asking.

Ford Focus Alternator drive/serpentine belt replacement

John arrived on time and was very friendly.
He very soon jacked up the car and discovered a little play in the water pump and evidence of a water leak.
He quickly replaced the belt so the the car was safe to drive so that the water pump issue could be sorted out at a local garage.
A clean and tidy job.

Peugeot 206 Radiator replacement

Well even I know that there are different size radiators from just looking on The internet how much they were but he brought the wrong size so then had to come back 3 days later meaning I missed more work!

Hi,
I am fully aware that radiators come in different sizes but there is not much I can do if the supplier provides me with the wrong one ! You could do all the research in the world and it wont cover that one.
You also say that you missed work, however the car had done over 100 miles from my initial visit on the Saturday to the Tuesday so you must have been using it !
Also I kept you fully updated at all times regarding the job so marking me down on that score seems a little harsh

Arrived the right side of the two hour slot, problems resolved in minutes. Very polite and friendly.
The franchise was ceased in 2003 and since then many technicians have continued independently, such as myself, who has owned and run this business since 1991. In 2010 I worked with the AA for a year whilst also doing my own repairs with Hometune on the side in my spare time and kept the business going so it never ceased.
