John was great, found the problem quickly and resolved it. Gave me some advice about maintaining aswell

happy with mechanic and job

John was very polite and friendly. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and he was clearly trying to save me money where possible, without compromising on the quality of the work required. In the end he wasn't able to complete the original task as I needed an additional part, but he talked me through what I neeeed and why and what steps to take, which was very helpful.

John was very friendly and helpful but I was disappointed that having accepted the job with full car and fault details supplied - the replacement of a front coil spring on a Rover 75 - when he arrived on site, having picked up a replacement coil spring, he was unable to carry out the job because his compressor was not strong enough compress the coil spring! As an experienced mechanic I would have expected him to know this before accepting the job. He was helpful in that he secured the spring and put on my space saver tyre so that I could drive to a garage to have the work done by someone else and has charged me £40 for doing so but at the end of the day he should not have accepted the job if he did not have the necessary equipment.

The mechanic was brilliantr, he did a perfect job.

John was fast, reliable, straighttalking and generally an allround nice guy. Will definately call him again if the car decides to pick another fight...
