“Simon was hired to do a pre-purchase inspection on a used car I was considering buying. After a thorough check, he picked up on a couple of potentially dangerous issues, including a possible engine fault (he said something didn't seem right but couldn't pinpoint the problem, something only an experienced mechanic would pick up on) during the test drive. All info was sent via e-mail and discussed on the phone. After further investigation online, I found the fault he suspected is actually common on the make and model and leads to irreparable engine failure. I definitely dodged a bullet thanks to Simon, he's saved us thousands and a lot of heartache. Would not hesitate to recommend Simon Davis, Click-mechanic and the pre-purchase inspection.”
