No diagnostic done on the car but was still told that the head casket was gone. I wonder what I paid £58.00 for not impressed.

thanks for the review but when i came over we had a look at the condition of the engine and tried to start it the we found the engine not starting due to it looks like low compression i did explain to you why the car is not starting due to over heating by connecting a diagnostic medicine this would not have given any mechanic problems issues only electrical this is is why we never connected the tool as it was quit clear the car over heated we are confident that the head gasket might need replacing due to the extent of the over heating issue unfortunately the Astra does suffer from this type of problem and i did enplane this to you thank you and regards .

BMW X3 Clutch replacement

Neutral overall experience really. Picked car up early (good start).
Garage Called to tell me that more work needed to be done (I had an over the phone diagnosis with click mechanic) confirming my clutch was the issue. The extra work was going to be just under £400 extra... I couldn't afford to have the extra work done.. so a replacement clutch was fitted ... The car still makes the same noise and the extra work still needs to be done. So now I'm left between a rock and a hard place.. a new clutch however fly mass wheel also needs replacing. So despite the clutch being replaced I have a Car that feels sounds and mechanically isn't really any better off.

Thank you for the review. But we did contact you and explained the fly wheel is not in a good condition and did explain why it should also bee replaced. We even sent you a video showing the fly wheel with the excessive movement and noise. Unfortunately you insisted for us to put everything back with a new clutch and bring the car back. Because you could not afford it. We left the old clutch in the car so you could see it. Thanks for sending me the text last night. Asking how much it will cost to fit the fly wheel if you provided the parts The labour would be the same again because the box needs to be removed. Not very happy at all. I specified the job that I want for my car, but the man they sent to do what I want does not know what to do. I don’t think he is a mechanic either. He can’t even operate the diagnostic tools without the remote assistance from his colleagues. I mean, if I only knew I wouldn’t let him to proceed with the appointment. It's a total waste of time and money. I could do a lot better than him. Although the boss offer me to go to their garage to discuss the MOT result that may contribute to the problem it wouldn’t help either.
What I want is to find out if there’s any leak in some hoses which I used the term as “Vacuum leak Test “ whatever “you” mechanics called it, and He the boss said there is no such thing as a vacuum leak test so what is the point of going there.
I have used click mechanics many times, and it is getting worse and I called it the DAY!

Hi thank you for the review you left us but we must add before we came out to you you told me the engine management light is on I explain to you that there is no such thing as a vacuum test on a running engine however my technician came out to you to check the vehicle with a machine and connected it to your car the codes we got suggested that you have a Lambda reading high I then suggested to you maybe best for you to come to the workshop And we can do a full emissions test with no extra cost this might give us accurate reason why the reading is high either a sensor problem or possibly a catalyst problem or even a air leak I then suggest to check the PPM reading which would indicate an air leak By carrying out the test It would’ve helped us greatly to identify the cause accurately Best regards Queensway.
