How do I know if my brakes need to be replaced?
Brake discs will gradually become thinner due to the friction between them and the brake pads.

This meant that at 6pm the brakes had been dismantled and the correct parts couldn't be obtained until the next day. This left me stranded in Birmingham with no transport.
