“It is so refreshing to find a mechanic that will be transparent and helpful when things don't go right the first time. My car had several issues that occured after it's MOT, one of which was a returning problem that was supposed to have been fixed prior to the MOT. The mechanic not only corrected the returning issue but diagnosed the new problems then quoted for and fixed the problem within one working day. All of this was done with concise communitation and without ripping me off. As a female driver, it can be difficult to be taken seriously and not be taken advantage of by nechanics so this was a welcome change.”

“Simon arrived just after 6:00pm and was polite and friendly. Ten minutes later the job was complete. Wipers are brilliant, no noise and no smears. Yes, if someone could have taken me to buy the replacement wiper it would have been a lot cheaper but there was no one I could ask and being disabled it's not possible to get public transport. “I found your company via the internet. From the moment I signed up with you regarding urgent repairs to my vehicle, I was impressed.

I received a message stating that Michael would be my mechanic and had been allocated to me. At this point, I was also given a reference number. Michael called me the day before he was due to come out (between 12 and 2 p.m.) to understand the full circumstances of the car's issues, what I had been told the problem was, and my own observations.

Later, I received another call from Michael, letting me know he could arrive by 9:30 a.m., which was perfect as my car could no longer be started, and I was relying on taxis. He arrived the next morning and completed the assessment of my car. It was then decided that the repairs could not be done on my driveway, so the vehicle needed to be taken to Luton, where his garage is located.

Michael was keen to get the job done quickly. He arranged for a pick-up truck to collect my vehicle and transport it to Luton, which cost me £130. He was passionate, very professional, and kept me well informed throughout the process. However, there was some confusion due to the constant emails and messages stating that you were unable to allocate a mechanic, even though the car had been with Michael since the 18th.

Money was removed from my account to cover the repairs, then refunded, and at one point, it seemed as though the job had been canceled. Despite these hiccups, my car was returned today, and I’m happy with both the car and the repairs. Michael even had it cleaned before returning it.

The only negative aspect was that Michael needs to manage customer expectations better. For example, in my case, I had a rented vehicle and a business to run. If he had said, “We’re looking at about three days, mate,” instead of implying it might take a week, I could have planned accordingly. This would have saved me from needing to extend the rental or pay for additional taxis after the three-day mark when the car was still in Luton.

As someone with a business and commitments, managing my expectations was critical. Nevertheless, I would rate the overall experience a 9/10.”

“I recently booked an advanced Pre Inspection Report on a car that I was considering purchasing from a private seller. Dill, the mechanic, carried out the report the following morning so it was great to not keep the seller of the vehicle waiting and risk losing out on the car. Dill called me during and after the inspection and sent multiple relevant images. The car wasn’t quite as tidy as it had seemed in the advert and I felt that Dill gave me a more realistic appraisal of the cars condition, any work that could be expected in the future and any immediate mechanical points that I needed to be aware of. This meant that I could assess whether or not to go ahead with going to view the car (3 hours away) and what I would be willing to pay for it. I ended up buying the car at a price that reflected its condition and any work required. Dill’s assessment, communication and willingness to investigate areas of the car that were particular to my needs played a large part in having confidence in the buying process. Thank you Dill!
