“The mechanic was supposed to be Kamran, who had previously done work on my car. He phoned to let let me know approx arrival of his colleague picking the car up. It's a bit cheeky of Clickmechanic to lead a customer to believe a particular mechanic will be doing the work when it's a different person. However, Zayn ( Zain ?- sorry, I didn't ask about the spelling ) was excellent. Friendly, and really good communicator. Rang me about arrival time, texted when it was delayed, did what he said he would do, and gave advice on other work I might want to get done that didn't come within the MOT or service.
The only improvement in the service that I would suggest, to do with how it's set up, not this particular mechanic, is that without a stamped service record ( a previous garage lost mine ), there's no record of any work done/checks made under a full service except the air filter, oil filter and engine oil that appears on the Invoice.”
