This meant that at 6pm the brakes had been dismantled and the correct parts couldn't be obtained until the next day. This left me stranded in Birmingham with no transport. As I live about 25 miles out of Birmingham, my wife had to collect me and drop me back the next day. So that was 100 miles of inconvenience. I was without my van for 24 hrs, which is quite different to the 2 hours the job was supposed to take. My advice for anyone booking would be to get an early appointment so that there is still time to correct any mistake with the parts on the same day.”
